Olivers Transport started its journey when Norman Oliver started driving his first vehicle from a small yard in the Scottish Borders. Lynn, his wife, supported the newly-formed company in an accounts and administrative capacity. We remain a family business, built on a solid foundation of reliability and efficiency, with particular focus on being flexible to our customer needs and tailoring solutions in order to provide the highest level of quality service.

Olivers Transport has built up a reputation for offering high performance services to industry and commerce for a diverse customer base. In order to enable this we have continually invested in our people and facilities. Our modern fleet of vehicles and our premises are purpose built and have highly efficient technology systems integrated to optimise our operations.

The Mitchell Vehicle

After Mitchell’s Transport ceased trading due to the untimely death of Hugh Mitchell, Olivers Transport Ltd. purchased his last vehicle. As we had worked closely with Hugh for many years, and our fathers before us, we will run this vehicle under his distinctive livery for its lifetime as a tribute to him.
